Is there a natural product or vitamin that will help a child suspected of having ADD? Also any comments from parents that have put their ADD children on prescription drugs and have they helped or not.

How do you determine which vitamins and supplements are made with good quality ingredients. Does price really matter. There are so many brands out there. I dont know who to trus,t but then i would assume the more expensive ones are really made better.

I have ridiculously cold feet and hands all the time. Are there any supplements I can take to improve my blood circulation safely?
I’m well aware that it’s winter (how did you even know if I lived in a cold climate, by the way?) but i’m freezing even when my house is warm.

I spend alot of money buying alot of herbal and nutritional supplements, but lately I’ve been wondering how one can know which supplements truly contain the ingredients that they claim in the amounts that they claim, and whether they are manufactured with quality standards, etc. Since they aren’t regulated, how can one know for sure. Are there any brands that are frequently tested by independent labs, and how does one know that the supplement company is not just paying off the lab to give it a passing score? I’m obsessing over this but don’t know how to find credible information about it. Can anyone help? Thank you.

I have heard of and seen programs where they test certain brands of vitamins and other supplements sold in drug stores. On these programs they ‘expose’ brands as not having in the ‘pill’ what the brands say they have.

For example, a glucosamine capsule which advertises 1500 units on the bottle may only have 1000. This is just an example. I do not remember the brands which were ‘bad’ nor the supplement.

So, my question is, how do I know I am paying for what I am getting? Today, I entered into a health store which sells a huge selection of vitamins and other pills. I wanted a specific supplement which might the pain I have in my rotator cuff. There were lots of these pills for joint health, and that is when I started to wonder if I am just buying a sugar pill or am I getting what it says on the bottle.

I am trying to maximize the health of my skin, any specific companies that make a natural multivitamin for skin that actually works and contains all of the retenoids a beta-carotene and others for proper consumption of the vitamin A? I also hear Coconut Oil is great for digesting fat soluble vitamins and also helps use omegas that i am planning on getting from a hemp oil supplement. Please, all help is appreciated.

I heard once that calcium will block the absorption of other key nutrients if they are taken after te same meal. Is this true? I usually like to split my supplements (like multi) up and take them throughout the day. A full calcium citrate supplement is taken in three pills, so I’m trying to figure out how to get an adequate amount of calcium every day.
