I’ve been sticking to a good workout regimen for the past few weeks to gain muscle mass and strength. I want to boost my muscle making abilities, but don’t want to go on a supplement such as Creatine or HGH or anything like that.

Are there natural ways I can boost muscle density and strength through diet or natural supplements?

I bought some time-release vitamins, but the tablets are huge and hard to swallow, especially in the morning. I’ve been breaking them in half, but wonder if this reduces the time-release schedule because the inside of the tablet is now exposed. That is, instead of dissolving from the outside shell inwards, I’ve exposed the inside of the vitamin which could dissolve faster. Anyone know?

Could anyone recommend some testosterone stimulants/supplements for naturally producing testosterone, I am looking for a safe supplement to help promote muscle growth, lab engineered stuff is ok, like the stuff you can pick up at GNC as long as it is safe and not a “pseudo”steroid. Just looking for healthy alternatives for a hardgainer, so any supplement suggestions or products would be great!

I am anemic (due to being a vegetarian) and have been suffering from severe fatigue for the past month or so. I started to take a multi-vitamin and extra calcium and iron supplements in hopes that they would improve my health and energy level.

I was just wondering how long it takes for supplements to start working through your system so I know if vitamin deficiencies are something that I should keep looking into.

Thanks.

I have been taking Omega 3 and Calcium supplements everyday. I was wondering what others could provide me to feel healthier naturally and maybe help me in my daily performances.

I lift 5X a week. I am going to Florida for a week for Spring Break. I am going to bring my protein with me. I was wondering what other supplements are beneficial on “off” weeks to keep the muscle preserved and charged?

My boyfriend takes supplements for working out and he drinks tons of water. We just wanted to know how long does the supplements stay in his system? He goes to the bathroom a lot and wonders if he just pee’s out the supplements right away?

I’m talking about creatine, weight gainer etc. Why the age limit? All supplements say for age 16 and over. And what is the best supplement for getting big muscles fast?
And how fast will they work and how much bigger should they get? Interesting one this is!

Most of the work out programs I have studied have the lifter working out in the morning, and taking their supplements throughout the day. I work out at 10PM and then go to sleep. How can I use my supplements effectively and still work out at 10PM?

I used to not have this problem, but when I was actively working out and supplementing with Whey, Casein, and Albumum protein powders, I noticed that I had a problem sometimes with being able to swallow good and actually a couple of times choking and spitting the stuff back up in a thick mucus-like spit. Associated symptoms were that of heartburn but quite different. Not too long there after I read a container of one of those powedered proteins when I was browsing in GNC that stated something to the effect of ‘protein powders agitating the esophogus’ in some consumers which in some cases can cause the esophugus to swell and narrow leading to choking. That’s my case, but not every time, just certain times. What other supplements could I take instead? Caplets?
