vitamin
Rock S asked:

I have bought four containers of 20 effervescent tabs of magnesium; calcium; vitamin c; multivitamin. They are to be mixed with 200ml of water each. Can I take them all simultaneously? Any harm to the stomach from the effervescent thing? In any way can it be worse than drinking a liter of soda? Does it even get closer? Is it unhealthy in any way if any? Cheers, thanks!

ok, first of all, why do you think your body needs this huge over induction of “vitamins”?

unless your over 60 and in poor health, all you should need, at MOST, is 1 of the standard multivitamins a day.

one thing you have to be carefull of is the amount of vitamin a a, b3, or b6 youre taking in, as too much can led to hyperviatminosis, which is basically your body taking in so much of the stuff it builds up and reaches toxic levels.

too much vitamin c also causes a laxative effect, not very nice!!

in general, once you leave the tablet FULLY dissolve in the water your fine, but to be honest, the reason why in these tablets youll see that each one has like 500% the RDA of each vitamin is that your body cant absorb a whole lot of what your giving it in one go, its like throwing a fistfull of gravel into a hole in the wall the size of a small ball, chances are only 10% will actually get in there, the rest, well, goes into the toilet.

best thing would be to control your diet properly, with frest fruit and veg, esp greens, and get your vit and minerals into you naturally, as your body is designed for.

once again, unless you’re of very poor health or in the 60+ age bracket, youre basically throwing your money away to good advertising and a placebo effect
